The Woburn Memorial Tanners typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Westfield Bombers proved too difficult a challenge. Westfield came out on top against Woburn Memorial by a score of 34-21. Winning may never get old, but Westfield sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Westfield was led to victory by Jaxson St pierre and Kaevon Eddington. St pierre rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns, while Eddington rushed for 208 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. Lucas Guay and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Westfield's victory.
Westfield's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Woburn Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
Westfield will head out on the road to face off against Billerica Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Woburn Memorial will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Winchester at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd.
