The Grove City Christian Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Harvest Prep Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Grove City Christian duked it out with Miller on Monday. Grove City Christian breezed past Miller to the tune of 46-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted since November 26, 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grove City Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rylee Thompson, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Thompson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sarah Karlich, who posted seven points and 16 boards.
Grove City Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harvest Prep). They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging an 85-46 win over Grandview Heights. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Bobcats are ranked 642nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Harvest Prep's win came from a few key players Grove City Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Janay Carter, who went 8-for-14 en route to 20 points and three steals. She has become a key player for Harvest Prep: the team is 5-2 when she posts at least 15 points, but 4-11 otherwise. Jordyn Johnson was another key player, going 6-for-8 to rack up 14 points and four steals.
Grove City Christian's record now sits at 8-14. As for Harvest Prep, their record is now 9-13.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Grove City Christian has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Harvest Prep struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Grove City Christian was dealt a bruising 73-19 loss at the hands of Harvest Prep in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Grove City Christian was down 47-13.
