Masconomet Regional and Milton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Masconomet Regional had to settle for second. The contest between the Chieftains and the Wildcats didn't end well, with the Chieftains falling 41-27. The Chieftains' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Masconomet Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Milton, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Masconomet Regional and Northeast Metro RVT will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Milton, they will face off against North Attleborough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rocketeers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
