East Catholic dropped their record down to 7-2 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of Tolland by a score of 6-5. East Catholic was not able to make up for their defeat to Tolland from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

As for Tolland, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games.

For Tolland's part, the team relied heavily on Evan Clark, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Bryant, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Catholic will venture away from home to take on RHAM at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Tolland, they will head out to square off against Bristol Eastern at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
