Joliet West had already won 11 in a row and they went ahead and made it 12 on Thursday. They walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Oswego East Wolves. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16,  25-20.
 Lexie Grevengoed paced Joliet West's offense, picking up seven kills. Grevengoed got some help from  Julia Adams and her 12 assists.  Lola Berta controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
  Riley Trefny and  Laila Mossey certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss.  Trefny  had eight  digs and eight assists, while  Mossey  had seven  digs and seven  assists.
Joliet West's victory bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Oswego East, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record  this season.
