Hinton's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Sayre Eagles by a score of 7-4. That's more bragging rights for the Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hinton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-17 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Sayre, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-8.
