Roncalli is 2-8 against New Holstein since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Jets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. Roncalli is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
Roncalli had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Sevastopol on Saturday. The Jets were the clear victors by an 18-9 margin over the Pioneers.

Roncalli got a massive performance out of Sawyer Van Drisse, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave Van Drisse a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kannon Kinsella, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, New Holstein hadn't done well against Chilton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Huskies came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
New Holstein's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Landon Floyd, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
New Holstein's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Roncalli, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
New Holstein's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Roncalli has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for New Holstein, though, as they've been averaging only 3.3 strikeouts. Will Roncalli keep running through batters, or will the Huskies buck the trend?
Roncalli got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against New Holstein by a conclusive 11-5 score. Do the Jets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
