The Minneola Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Satanta by a score of 62-53. That's another feather in the cap for Minneola, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Eli Lang was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Lang, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Minneola's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for Satanta, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Minneola is on the road again on Friday and plays the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Satanta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mavericks at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
