Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Michael the Archangel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Janaye Martinez, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 24 rebounds. Martinez is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Anjalia Bryant was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, Foxcroft came up short against Oakcrest on Monday and fell 40-30.
Despite the loss, Foxcroft got a solid performance out of Irene Boehm, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Tashae' Allen, who scored seven points.
St. Michael the Archangel has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Foxcroft, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
