With a playoff game on the line, the Colusa RedHawks rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 42-13 victory over the Warriors at home. Colusa's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Colusa's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bo Coronado, who threw for 262 yards and two touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes. Landon Humphrey was another key contributor, picking up 158 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Colusa pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.7 points per game. As for Winters, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season.
Colusa will head out on the road to face off against South San Francisco at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. South San Francisco will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. Winters does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
