Louisville added to the longest winning streak in 3A Region 4 this week by beating Aberdeen, 39-13. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Wildcats.
Winona took down South Pontotoc 56-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Nettleton's Dakota Cruber and Levert Jernigan have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Cruber has thrown for 2,268 yards this season, while Jernigan has 61 catches for 866 yards. The Bulldogs' Josh Williams leads the league in rushing yards with 635.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Louisville takes on second place Kemper County. Last week, Louisville defeated Aberdeen, while Kemper County bested the Tigers.
The Wildcats' offense has scored 259 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while M.C. Miller's team has allowed only 47 on the year.
The Tigers led 3A Region 4 in scoring this week by notching 56 points on the Cougars.
