Kahluna Bouchard of Staley ran for the longest rushing play in Suburban - White this season against Oak Park last week. Bouchard's team topped the Northmen as he sprinted for 64 yards on the play and finished with 152 in all.
Staley extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Oak Park, 47-6. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Fort Osage's dynamic duo of Steven McBee and Brandon Winters proved tough for North Kansas City to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McBee threw for 231 yards and two touchdowns and Winters had 104 yards receiving. D'vante Mosby helped Fort Osage's passing attack out by catching four balls for 79 yards.
The Indians' McBee and Winters have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. McBee has thrown for 1209 yards this season, while Winters has 31 catches for 524 yards. Trent Hosick from the Falcons leads the league in rushing with 939 yards.
Staley's Hosick needs only 61 yards against the Hornets next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in Suburban - White this week will be when the Falcons take on North Kansas City. As it stands, Staley is in second, while Leon Douglass' team is in third.
Keith Ross' team moved up to 231 from 269 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Northmen climbed the ranks as a result of falling to the Falcons 47-6.
