Sachse has gone a perfect 10-0 against Naaman Forest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rangers at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Sachse's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against South Garland as they made off with a 19-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.
Logan Schultz was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. In other batting news, Maya Mcclarity and Zoe Worley did most of the damage at the plate: Mcclarity went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs, while Worley scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Worley has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Siratt, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Sachse always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .774. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Garland only posted an OBP of .100.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Naaman Forest brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They put the hurt on North Garland with a sharp 14-3 victory on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rangers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Emily Velazquez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off ten hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Elizabeth Lazalde was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Maya Rhodes was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Sachse hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .379. However, it's not like Naaman Forest struggles in that department as they've averaged .345. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Sachse's way against Naaman Forest when the teams last played back in March, as Sachse made off with a 14-4 victory. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rangers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
