The South San Antonio Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Seguin Matadors at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
South San Antonio barely beat Harlandale the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 14-1 win on Saturday. The Bobcats have beaten the Indians the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Indians has come to flipping the script.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: South San Antonio kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harlandale only managed three hits.
Meanwhile, Seguin's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let Jefferson get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory.
Corey Dailey made a big impact no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Will Gray Mahaffey was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ocean Moreno, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Seguin has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for South San Antonio, their record is now 14-8.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. South San Antonio hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317. However, it's not like Seguin struggles in that department as they've averaged .334. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
