Carson Armstrong gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Friday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Hatley: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 4-9 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Armstrong and Hatley will challenge Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last time these two faced off, Armstrong and Co. were forced to settle for a 20-0 loss.
