It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Glenn Falcons can now relate to. They lost to the Lions on the road by a decisive 53-35 margin on Tuesday. Glenn was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addison Reese, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keelyn Bradley, who scored four points along with two blocks.
Bremen's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kila Foster, who scored 21 points. Foster has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Kincaid, who scored 15 points along with five assists and three steals.
Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Bremen, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-11.
Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bremen will face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Culver Academies will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
