Last Saturday, Capital suffered a tough 62-40 defeat at the hands of Eagle. While losing is never fun, Capital can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Eagle is ranked 27th).
Meanwhile, Kuna's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. The contest between Kuna and Borah wasn't particularly close, with Kuna falling 52-37.
Capital's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Kuna, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Capital came up short against Kuna when the teams last played back in November, falling 42-32. Can Capital avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
