The Prosser Falcons will face off against the Schurz Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Prosser's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last seven matchups.
On Thursday, Prosser beat Disney II 10-6. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Jayden Perez made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Prosser: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-3 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kajarrie Walker, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Nathan Montes was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Schurz and Foreman have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Saturday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 16-7 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by nine runs or more this season.
Schurz's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mitchell Quiles, who got on base in five of his two plate appearances with one home run, one triple, and two RBI.
Schurz lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Prosser pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Schurz, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.
Prosser took their win against Schurz when the teams last played back in May of 2019 by a conclusive 17-7 score. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
