Carlsbad won the last time they faced Oceanside and things went their way on Friday too. The Lancers took their contest with ease, bagging a 48-14 victory over the Pirates. Carlsbad has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 45.5 points this season. As for Oceanside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlsbad will square off against El Camino at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Oceanside, they will challenge Mission Hills at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
