The Terre Haute South Vigo Braves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They fell to Evansville Bosse 63-59. Terre Haute South Vigo was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Evansville Bosse apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Several Braves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nathan Boyce, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Boyce has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayvion Baker, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.
Terre Haute South Vigo dropped their record down to 7-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Evansville Bosse, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.
Terre Haute South Vigo will be playing at home against Northview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Evansville Bosse, they will head out on the road to square off against Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Castle focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
