The Cedar Ridge Raiders were the 66-65 winner over the Round Rock Westwood Warriors when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Cedar Ridge took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Friday.
Cedar Ridge lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Peyton Dulin, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. Dulin has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Collins-long, who scored nine points.
Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Round Rock Westwood, their win bumped their record up to 17-11.
Cedar Ridge will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Stony Point is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games. As for Round Rock Westwood, they will head out on the road to face off against the Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vista Ridge has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 28.
