James River won the last time they faced Randolph-Henry, and things went their way on Friday, too. Everything went James River's way against Randolph-Henry as they made off with a 49-15 win. 49 seems to be a good number for James River as the team scooped up a win with the same point total in their previous game.
James River's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 41 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Randolph-Henry couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 41-0 heading into the break. James River were outperformed in the second half 8-15 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the contest. The match brought them to 1-0 and dropped Randolph-Henry to a mirror-image 0-1.
James River are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against McCluer next week at Parry McCluer High School at 7:00 PM. Randolph-Henry will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Bluestone at 7:00 PM.
