Their wins bumped Battle Mountain to 2-0 and Basalt to 1-0. In their victory, Battle Mountain relied heavily on junior Garrett Anderson, who rushed for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns; a key strategy for Basalt will lie in finding a way to minimize his impact.
