Basketball Recap: Foundation Christian Academy Skates Past Metro Christian Academy with Ease

It was a Battle of the Birds when Foundation Christian Academy duked it out withMetro Christian Academy on Friday. The Foundation Christian Academy Falcons simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Metro Christian Academy Eagles 61-17. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Foundation Christian Academy pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.4 points. As for Metro Christian Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Foundation Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-22 victory against Heritage Christian Academy on the 14th. As for Metro Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dayspring Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Metro Christian Academy is facing Dayspring Academy at the right time seeing as Dayspring Academy is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
