The Pace Academy Knights put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Hyde Park 63-35 on the road. Given Pace Academy's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked seventh in Georgia, while Hyde Park is ranked 177th in Illinois), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kyle Greene continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chandler Bing, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
Pace Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hyde Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pace Academy will take on Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hampton is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Hyde Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Englewood Stem at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
