The Lorena Leopards entered their tilt with the Troy Trojans with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Lorena was the clear victor by a 49-29 margin over Troy. The result was nothing new for Lorena, who have now won three matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Braylon Henry was his usual excellent self, rushing for 202 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Henry is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last seven games he's played. Jadon Porter made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Lorena's victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.8 points per game. As for Troy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Lorena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Troy will be playing at home against C.H. Yoe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (C.H. Yoe is ranked 452nd, while Troy is ranked 442nd).
