Claysburg-Kimmel has gone 8-2 against Glendale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs will venture away from home to  challenge the Glendale Vikings  at 4:30  p.m. Claysburg-Kimmel is coming into the  match hot, having won their last three games.
Claysburg-Kimmel had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Tussey Mountain on Thursday. Claysburg-Kimmel blew past Tussey Mountain 16-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their two-run performance the  contest before.
 Launa Musselman made a big impact no matter where she played. She  tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. What's more,  she gave up only one  walk, the fewest she's  had since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4. What's more,  she posted three  RBI, the most she's  had since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Zailee Bush was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs and four  RBI while going 2-for-4. Those  two  home runs gave  her a new career-high.  Harlee Harcolerode was another key player,  going 2-for-5 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Claysburg-Kimmel  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tussey Mountain only posted  an  OBP of  .211.
 Meanwhile, Glendale unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of West Branch by a score of  2-0 on Wednesday. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.
Claysburg-Kimmel pushed their record up to 3-0 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Glendale, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Everything went Claysburg-Kimmel's way against Glendale in their previous matchup  back in March of 2024, as Claysburg-Kimmel made off with  an  11-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Claysburg-Kimmel since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
