Redlands hasn't had much luck against Beaumont recently, but that could start to change on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Redlands has given up an average of 28 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Last Friday, Redlands ended up a good deal behind Palm Desert and lost 50-35.

Loss or not, Redlands got some senior leadership from Anthony Fraire and Collier Colbert. Fraire threw for 488 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.8 yards per attempt, while Colbert picked up 226 receiving yards and three scores. With that strong performance, Fraire is now averaging an impressive 329.8 passing yards per game. A healthy portion of Fraire's aerial production (176 yards to be exact) also went to Junior Sanchez.
Meanwhile, Beaumont came up short against Vista Murrieta last Friday and fell 21-14. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Redlands will need to focus on slowing down Jeremiah Duhu, one of several Beaumont players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 268 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 68 yards. Beaumont's leading receiver Braedon Miller was Duhu's top target yet again, picking up 103 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Even if they lost, Beaumont's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Brayden Valentich refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Beaumont got some further help from Valentich: he picked up 1.5 sacks and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Having lost for the first time this season, Beaumont fell to 4-1. As for Redlands, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Fraire and Duhu. Fraire just won't slow down this season and has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 329.8 passing yards per game. Duhu has been a dominant force too and has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 231.8 passing yards per game.
Redlands was taken down by Beaumont 51-17 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Duhu, who rushed for 128 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries, and also threw for 180 yards and three TDs while completing 90% of his passes. Now that the Terriers know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
