Meanwhile, Indian Rocks Christian sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Grace Christian on Tuesday.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Lakeside Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Indian Rocks Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Lakeside Christian might still be hurting after the 10-1 defeat they got from Indian Rocks Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
