The Overhills Jaguars will head out to face off against the Leesville Road Pride at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Saturday, Overhills came up short against Pinecrest and fell 33-22. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite their defeat, Overhills saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Isaiah Townsend, who picked up 82 receiving yards, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground, was perhaps the best of all. Ricky Trower was in the mix as well, providing Overhills with two rushing touchdowns touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Leesville Road won against Wakefield last Friday with 49 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Leesville Road blew past Panther Creek, posting a 49-21 victory on the road. The Pride pushed the score to 49-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Catamounts cut but never quite recovered from.
Leesville Road can attribute much of their success to Deiondre Goldston, who threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Goldston, who picked up 77 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Overhills' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Leesville Road, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
