Football Recap: Khirey London Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Riesel

Moody hadn't beaten Riesel on the road since October 16, 2015 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Bearcats were the clear victors by a 28-6 margin over the Indians. Considering the Bearcats have won four games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Moody's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Khirey London led the charge by rushing for 96 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. London really tore up the turf during one magnificent 77-yard run. Another signal caller making a difference was Lee Womack, who threw for 117 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Moody was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 218 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Moody now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Riesel, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
