Foothill (Santa Ana, Calif.) captured the lead in the fourth quarter and held on for a 17-7 victory over
Laguna Hills (Calif.) on Saturday. The Knights captured the lead for good when
Sam Stetson ran for a touchdown.
The two teams were tied at seven heading into halftime. The Knights took the lead for good on a Stetson touchdown run with 11:00 left in the fourth quarter.
Foothill's most effective player was
Julian Moss. The senior wide receiver ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 15 touchdowns on the season.
Will King made a difference for the Hawks. The senior caught one touchdown.
Laguna Hills' lone touchdown came on a 5-yard pass from undefined to King in the second quarter.
FHS had given up an average of 12.6 points prior to the contest.
The loss comes after Laguna Hills defeated Dana Hills 31-27 last week. With the win the Santa Ana school extended its winning streak to four games.
