Tri-State Christian has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Aquinas Academy Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-State Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matchups -- so hopefully the Crusaders like a good challenge.
Tri-State Christian can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by Providence Christian Academy at home to the tune of 59-24. With Tri-State Christian ahead 43-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Jackson Sartin was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with five steals and two blocks. He hasn't dropped below 17 points for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Falko, who scored ten points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Aquinas Academy ended up a good deal behind the Griffins last Friday and lost 51-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Aquinas Academy has scored all season.
Tri-State Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. As for Aquinas Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Tri-State Christian strolled past the Crusaders when the teams last played back in January by a score of 68-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tri-State Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
