The North Florida Christian Eagles lost against the Munroe Bobcats back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. North Florida Christian was outmatched by Munroe at home and fell 52-22. North Florida Christian has struggled against Munroe recently, as their matchup on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Munroe's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mya Mccullar, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. Mccullar is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aariyonni Thomas, who scored nine points along with three steals.
North Florida Christian's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-5. As for Munroe, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Florida Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Rocky Bayou Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Rocky Bayou Christian's defense has only allowed 23.8 points per game this season, so North Florida Christian's offense will have their work cut out for North Florida Christian. As for Munroe, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Godby at 6:00 p.m.
