Bloomfield won the last time they faced Niobrara/Verdigre and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Bees came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cougars, sneaking past  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Bees have posted  since August 28th.

 Madyson Mlady paced Bloomfield's offense, picking up 23 kills. Mlady got some help from  Kennedy Mlady and her 39 assists.  Aleah James controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
 Despite the  defeat, Niobrara/Verdigre saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Lynae Nielsen  had 15  digs. Nielsen has been hot recently, having  posted 15 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they now  have a losing record of 6-7.
 Bloomfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  2-1  loss against Plainview on the 30th. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-1  defeat against Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] on the 30th.
