It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Francis can now relate to. They came up short against the Iona Prep Gaels on Saturday, falling 42-21. The Red Raiders' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, St. Francis had strong showings from Trent Buttles, who threw for 261 yards and one touchdown, and Tyrone Clark Jr., who gained 82 total yards and a touchdown.

Leading Iona Prep to victory were Julian Guzman and Crew Davis. Guzman threw for 267 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72% of his passes, while Davis gained 146 total yards and three touchdowns. That's the most passing yards Guzman has posted since back in October.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Iona Prep, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

As of now, neither St. Francis nor the Gaels have any future games scheduled.
