Lake Buena Vista hasn't had much luck against Windermere recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Vipers will head out on the road to face off against the Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. Windermere took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lake Buena Vista, who comes in off a win.
Lake Buena Vista will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Monday, then bounced right back against Freedom on Tuesday. The Vipers put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 10-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vipers, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

In other batting news, Lake Buena Vista let Julianys Vega and Aiza Khan run wild. Vega scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-3, while Khan scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Vega has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nohemi Gonzzalez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Lake Buena Vista kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 7-2 when they post 11 or more hits.

Tessa Olofson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
Windermere's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Lake Buena Vista, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-10.
Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lake Buena Vista has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .553. However, it's not like Windermere struggles in that department as they've averaged .461. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lake Buena Vista suffered a grim 19-2 defeat to Windermere in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Vipers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
