With a playoff win on the line, North Wilkes rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Surry Central Golden Eagles by a score of  3-1. The Vikings are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 17 straight.
 Despite the loss, Surry Central still got an impressive performance from   Kenzie Hooker, who  had 13  digs, two  blocks,  and two  aces.  Mallie Southern was another key player,  getting 13  kills, four  digs,  and two  blocks.
North Wilkes' win bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Surry Central, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9.
 North Wilkes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  victory against McMichael on the 23rd. Surry Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
