Volleyball Recap: Sutton Has No Trouble Against H&H

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Paul, Sutton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the H&H Bearcats with a sharp 3-0 win. The contest marked the Mustangs' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sutton was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-12, 25-12.

Kamryn Steinhauer paced Sutton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Steinhauer got some help from Avery Smith and her ten assists. Steinhauer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Sutton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for H&H, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Sutton has already played their next game (against Doniphan-Trumbull), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for H&H, they are taking a road trip to challenge Thayer Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
