Last Wednesday, Ridgeland-Hardeeville might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Colleton County an easy 75-50 win. Ridgeland-Hardeeville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-19.
Despite their loss, Ridgeland-Hardeeville saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jabien Harris, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Jaquise Johnson, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Airport sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-51 victory over Fox Creek on Tuesday. The victory was just what Airport needed coming off of a 71-41 loss in their prior game.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Airport, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
