The Pendleton County Wildcat will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Trinity Christian Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Pendleton County lost 10-3 to Petersburg on Wednesday.

Jessica Parker was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Trinity Christian won against Varsity Opponent on Wednesday with 20 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Warriors blew past Tygarts Valley 20-5. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Kyra White made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. White was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Marlo Flecker was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one double. Hannah Titus was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
Trinity Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.
Pendleton County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Trinity Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Everything went Pendleton County's way against Trinity Christian in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Pendleton County made off with a 12-0 victory. Do the Wildcat have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
