While Atchison put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Sumner Academy. The Phoenix were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Sabres. Considering the Phoenix have won ten matches by more than ten runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Atchison's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-6. As for Sumner Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Atchison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-0 victory against Washington on the 13th. As for Sumner Academy, they have also already played their next game, an 11-4 win against Shawnee Mission West on the 14th.
