Balmorhea can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 66-46 margin over Dell City. The win was some much needed relief for Balmorhea as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success back in January. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 84-23 victory over Varsity Opponent. Perhaps unsurprisinly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Beaux Turner led the charge by scoring 20 points. It was the first time this season that Turner scored 15 or more points. Brody Chapman was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Balmorhea's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-10.
