The Litchfield Purple Panthers can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They blew past Hillsboro 63-32 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-8.
It was another big night for Victor Mcgill, who scored 24 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Saathoff, who scored six points along with five assists and five steals.
Litchfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Hillsboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Civic Memorial the next time they take the court. Hillsboro will head out to face Civic Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Litchfield will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
