On Thursday, North are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against El Segundo at 5:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
North found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-29 punch to the gut against Fountain Valley last Thursday.
Meanwhile, El Segundo had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They lost to Peninsula by a decisive 6-21 margin.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
