Independence moved up to 235 from 272 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Columbus City - South.
Marion-Franklin added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Dover, 34-14. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Red Devils.
Marion-Franklin's Justin Tyler and Omar Alfred led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Tyler has thrown for 1,126 yards this season, while Alfred has 29 catches for 550 yards. DeAnte' Townsend from the 76ers leads the league in rushing with 1,599 yards.
The Red Devils took down the Tornadoes 34-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tyler threw for 212 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 170 yards during the win.
