West Florence has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the South Florence Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Florence has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Friday, West Florence had to suffer through a rough 68-29 loss at the hands of the Red Foxes. While losing is never fun, West Florence can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 186th, while the Red Foxes are ranked 33rd).
Meanwhile, South Florence ended up a good deal behind the Chiefs on Friday and lost 38-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points South Florence has scored all season.
West Florence has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. As for South Florence, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.
West Florence came up short against the Bruins when the teams last played back in January, falling 55-47. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of South Florence's Jada Montgomery, who scored 24 points along with three steals.
