The Idea Academy Titans put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Vanguard Academy Beethoven as Idea Academy made off with a 42-22 win. That's another feather in the cap for Idea Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Idea Academy had a senior duo take command as Layla Perez dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 steals and Paola Luna dropped a double-double on 16 points and 20 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Perez has scored at least 25% of Idea Academy's points. Another player making a difference was America Cortez, who scored 2 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals.
Idea Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Vanguard Academy Beethoven, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
