South Lakes scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 49-35 to the Centreville Wildcats. The Seahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, South Lakes still got an impressive performance from Christian Wyatt, who rushed for 73 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 188 yards and one TD while completing 78.3% of his passes. South Lakes' leading receiver Nick Picarelli was Wyatt's top target yet again, picking up 100 receiving yards, while also rushing for 37 yards and one score.

Shields threw for 389 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes while Simpson picked up 297 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Those 389 passing yards gave Shields a new career-high. Cardin Stover handled things on the ground, rushing for 115 yards and a rushing touchdown.
