The Miles Bulldogs put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Menard 48-25. Given Miles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Menard is ranked 843rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Miles' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendyl Riddle, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayci Barnes, who scored 10 points along with 4 steals.
Miles' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 21.33 points. As for Menard, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Miles will take on Sterling City at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Menard, they will square off against Florence at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Florence comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
